I find light
A hope that I too
Can get better, and it is within my sight.
In your beautiful projection
I find inspiration
For new ways
To find my destination.

I find myself at rest
In an illusion from unintended delusion
Before reality is hitting me with its best.
In your beautiful projection
I find pain
Excruciating as it brings me
To my knees in insecurity with vain.

In your beautiful projection
I find anxiety
A child crumbled in a corner
Feeling left out of society.
In your beautiful projection
I find inspiration
To channel all my hurt
And unlock emotional constipation.

In your beautiful projection
I find learning
That I’m much more than
Who I think you think
I am. And I am now more discerning.
In your beautiful projection
I find a truth
That who you want me to see
Isn’t really you.

In your beautiful projection
I find honesty
Admitting to myself
That I put you on a pedestal.
In your beautiful projection
I find myself humbled
For the lesson, you taught
Without an aim, it was brought.

In your beautiful projection
I see a reflection
Of a person who, too, is finding
Their direction.
In your beautiful projection
I find myself at ease
In compassion, understanding,
gratitude, love, and
peace.
